Cathy Petocz's eponymous debut album is collection of songs pulled together from different places into an intimate story-time, sung at the piano.

The dates of composition span from 2004, when she was seventeen, to 2008, a month or so before recording. Some tracks were recorded in a friend's church, others in a small radio studio next to a heritage listed swimming pool, and one, Wake Up, O Sleeper, at the Triple J studios in Sydney after winning Triple J Unearthed's Flesh It Out Singer/Songwriter in 2007.
